RULES AND REGULATIONS

Qualifications to take charge as a Trustee or Member of the Trust.

Those who intend to join the Trust as Trustee or Trust Member for the benefit of the construction of the temple during the construction phase of the temple, should be persons who follow the principles of Sri Rama. The main motto of these persons should be the service of Lord Rama with reverence, the service of the Samaj and through this Dharma Marga is to be attained.

Those who wish to join the Bhadragiri Sri Sita Rama Chandra Swamy Temple as Trustees or Members should adhere to the following principles with the mindset that we are not even a speck of dust in front of the Lord:

 

    1. Those who partake in the construction and administrative activities of the Temple should have single minded devotion towards Rama and not resort to any political affiliations and also should not discriminate between rich and the poor, caste systems, creed or gender . These conditions are applicable to all who are intending to take part in the activities of the temple. In the temple related events and other meetings, pamphlets, hoardings, billboards or any material projecting any individual or organization will not be permitted . The temple and the idol will only be emphasized and will be given due importance in all such events.
    2. In case a person who is affiliated to a political party wants to participate he should do so by fully involving in the service of Rama. No thought of the political party to which the person is affiliated with should be there in these tasks.
    3. The person intending to participate in the activities of the temple should forget the differences of caste, religion and colour and do work which are not harmful to the village and the villagers.
    4. The person intending to participate in the activities of the temple should keep in mind the doctrine of dharma as laid and lived by Lord Rama, and follow the ideology of one goal and one attitude and work in a way that brings fame to our village.
    5. The main functionaries of the temple should be self-contemplative, self-sacrificing and striving for the betterment of the society and the temple. Only such people are considered qualified to carry out temple work. They may be from this village or from other places.
    6. The person intending to participate in the activities of the temple should spend at least one hour every day in temple construction work or temple management, or in the service of Lord Rama.
    7. There should be compulsory rotation of Office bearers of the Trust, once in every three years. Such election of Office bearers shall be conducted during the month when Udadhi festival is celebrated. If the Office bearer like President, Secretary or Treasurer is from Amudhugondapalli then the person assisting or who is a deputy to the Office bearer should be from outside Amudhugondapalli and if the Office bearer like President, Secretary or Treasurer is not from Amudhugondapalli then the person assisting or who is a deputy to the Office bearer should be from Amudhugondapalli. Once in three years when there is a rotation of Office bearer and the person to be elected at the time rotation should be not be from Amudhugondapalli, if the person elected earlier is from Amudhugondapalli and the person to be elected at the time rotation should be from Amudhugondapalli if the person elected earlier is not from Amudhugondapalli. It is desirable that those who intend to become office bearers should be either spiritually inclined or should have passion for music.
    8. The land bearing Sy. No 55/1A 3A, donated to the Trust for activities of the Trust by Sri. Manjunath of Matham Agraharam , Hosur, has been used for housing the main person involved in the construction and other activities of the temple, Sri. Prakash Muniyappa (Om Prakash, Founder & Present President of this Temple) and his family members. Since the cost of the construction of the house was borne by Sri. Prakash Muniyappa, he and his family members shall enjoy peaceful possession of the said house constructed on the said land, till their lifetime and thereafter, Trust may have the possession of the same.
    9. The total number of Trust Members is restricted to twenty seven (27). Of this fourteen (14) shall be from Amudhugondapalli and the balance thirteen (13) shall be other than from Amudhugondapalli. Out of the twenty seven Trust Members following are the office bearers who are required to be elected once in three years – President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.
    10. There is, however, no restriction on the number of committee members who are not Trust Members. All those, from worldwide, who come forward to assist the Trust are welcome to become committee members.

Rules for determining the activities after the construction of the temple:

 

    1. Once the construction of the temple is completed with the grace of Lord Rama and our efforts, it is our duty to ensure that the stonework is not damaged in any way during the temple management period. Application of lime and paints are prohibited.
    2. It is also our duty to maintain the cleanliness and security of the temple.
    3. Priests will not be appointed to work in the temple by birthright.
    4. The main temple officials (both present and future participants) should have no authority over the temple and should have authority only over the services.
    5. It is the duty of the villagers to protect and keep the temple and other areas designated for the management and services of the Ramalaya. Furthermore, no one will be given any authority or ownership over them.
    6. The cash and ornaments donated to the temple and Lord Rama should be presented before any three of the following Office bearers – the President, Secretary, Treasurer or their Deputies. They are the custodians of these items and cash. The priests have no authority over them.
    7. If anyone donates land to the temple, it should be registered in the name of the Temple Trust. No one except Lord Rama has any right or ownership over these fixed assets.
    8. Even though this Ram temple is in our village, we should not restrict it to a narrow circle, but invite people from all over and if any of them is appointed for the work of the temple, we should work shoulder to shoulder with them without any hesitation and take appropriate steps to bring glory to the temple.
    9. The villagers and the temple officials should consult at least once a month for the activities and progress of the temple and take appropriate steps for proper maintenance and achievement of the objectives of the Trust.
    10. Everyone should participate in Satsangs, at least once a month and through that, make it possible for people to attain devotion and knowledge.
    11. The details of the people who make any kind of offerings and the details of the offerings they have made will be available to all members through digital mode with complete transparency.
    12. If the Office bearers do not come to work or meetings for specified number of days, they may be dismissed.
